Park Fencing

Two important elements of having a perfect garden are privacy and shelter. You will want to be able to enjoy your garden without feeling exposed or overlooked. You will also need to make sure the plants and shrubs you have invested in are protected as much as possible from the elements. Young growth and plants that are not yet well established in particular can be damaged by cold conditions and buffeting winds. It can cause breakages in new growth and root disturbances which can lead to problems in the future. Fence Company

When you are planning the layout of your garden, you do need to consider how you are going to protect your plantings from harsher weather and also how you are going to secure your privacy. Fencing is one of the key ways in which you can do this.

Shelter and Privacy.
Fencing is an important way to define the boundaries of your garden and screen out close neighbors. Although some shelter and privacy can be achieved through using tree and shrub planting fencing gives a much more solid border which shows people exactly where one piece of land ends, and another begins. It can help to create a much more private and secluded area and will stop people wandering on to your land by mistake (ideal for large estates). Fencing is also important for security and will help to protect your garden against opportunistic intruders. Privacy Fences

Choosing Materials.
When you are choosing to fence for your garden, there are a number of important considerations you will need to make. The positioning of the fence will affect what materials are used. For example, if the fence is required in a windy exposed spot then it will need to be strong enough to stand up to the buffeting, it is likely to receive. It means you will have to consider a design that is suitable for exposed locations with more secure supports for the fence posts. If your wooden fence needs to go through areas with moist soil or thick foliage, then rot can be a problem. You will need to protect wooden fences against this with suitable preservative treatments or try to choose materials that are naturally resistance to decay such as cedar. Metal fencing can be a good choice in areas where security is a premium. There are also some very attractive wrought iron and steel fence designs that can create areas of interest in the garden as well as defining spaces. Classic metal bar fencing is also a good choice if you have animals you need to contain on your land. Iron Fences

Public Spaces.
If you require fencing for a public space such as a park or open garden, then fencing needs to define the borders without preventing people from accessing the area. Park fencing needs to be strong and durable and provide clear guidance when it comes to defining public spaces.
